Spring Boxes

This Tulip Gift Box is approximately 2-3/4" x 5-1/4" x 2-3/4" and has a self-closing bottom allowing it to fold flat for storage.  The file comes with the box base, the four coordinating mats, the 3D paper bow, and the tulips with leaf and stem pieces. All pieces can be used separately or together as shown.  The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.  


 Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out the box base and fold on the score lines.  Place adhesive along the side tab.
2. Adhere the box tab to the box side to form the box shape.
3. Tuck in the slot tab on the bottom then push in the two side tabs.
4. Insert the tab into the slot.  You will need to push the bottom in some to get it in, then push down from inside the box to close.
5. Cut out your detail pieces and mats.  With the leaf piece, lace adhesive on the flower stem area.
6. Adhere the flower stem piece on top of the leaf cut. Use a skewer or pencil to shape leaf pieces.
7. Ink around the edges of the tulip cuts (if desired) and adhere the bow pieces together.  Adhere the mats on the box.
8. Adhere the stem/leaf piece to the box, lining up the bottom of the stem with the mat and centering.  Place foam adhesive on the flower stem tips.
9. Adhere the tulips together, using the tips of the tulips to line up the pieces.  Bend tips a little to give form. Adhere the tulip pieces using the foam adhesive.
10. Assemble the bow by bringing in each side toward the middle then wrapping the center around. Adhere bow to tails with foam adhesive then adhere the bow in place on the box.  Embellish and fill as desired!

This Tulip Card is A2 in size (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") and comes with the card base, the two artisan mats, the three tulip flower forms, the stems and leaf cuts, and the pieces to build the layered bow.  The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.   All pieces can be used separately or together as shown.



This Sunflower Card is A2 in size (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") and comes with the card base, the doily mat, the three-piece flower pot, the stems and leaf cuts, and the pieces to build the layered sunflower.  The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.  

Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out all your pieces and fold the card base on the score line. Starting with the sunflower centers, place adhesive along the bottom solid strip and roll tightly, adhering as you go.
2. Close up image of the rolling process being started as well as a finished center.
3. Assemble your flower pot and adhere stems then the leaf cut in place.  Gather your flower pieces and sort in size order.
4. This image shows the progress of the flower building.  Adhere the center to the smallest, then fold up the petals around the center.  Adhere that to the middle size form, folding the petals up again. Then finally adhere to the largest flower form. Spread out the petals as desired.
5. Adhere the doily mat to the card base, centering. Place foam adhesive at the ends of the stems.
6. Adhere the flowers to the card.
