Magnetic List Notepad Holders!

Finding teacher gifts is always a challenge for me and one I enjoy!  Both of my kids are in multiage environments which means we have lots of teachers and interns to buy for so we are always on the look for budgeted gifts.  This year I found magnetic notepads that are 3 3/4" x 9" at Tuesday Mornings for $1.99.  You can find cheaper pads, even at the dollar stores, but I liked that these notepads had thicker paper and it was a bonus that each one already came with a ribbon wrap!  And you know what else Tuesday Morning has!?  They have 12x12 Momenta Christmas Textured Cardstock Pads which are PERFECT for this project because they have the same pattern on both sides of the paper!  One stop shopping, who doesn't love that!

Start with a 12x12 double sided cardstock and score at 4", 4 1/4", 8 1/4" and 8 1/2". Turn your paper and score at 2 1/2".  Cut up at the 4 1/4" and 8 1/4" to the 2 1/2" score line and then cut along the 2 1/2" score line to remove the two side pieces (keep the side pieces to make a tag!).  Your paper should look like this:
Fold at all the score marks.  Along the right edge, use a border punch to add a design.
Fold up the bottom flap, fold in the right edge, and then fold over the left edge and wrap up!  I used the ribbons from the notepads to tie on the tag and placed some pens on some of the packages too!
