This adorable Valentine bag comes sized to create a finished project of approximately 
2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" (5"ish with handles).  The box is the perfect size for holding chocolate candies, small gifts, even homemade goodies!  The project comes with the little heart tag to write on too!  The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats and can be made larger with the Cameo or smaller to fit your needs!  

Here is the tutorial:

1. Cut out your pieces.  Starting with the bag base, fold on the score lines.  Place a strong adhesive on the corners as shown.
2. Adhere the corners together so the point is on the "outside" area of the box as shown in this image (back right corner).
3. Continue adhering your corners so your box looks like this now.  Adhere the handles on the box sides as shown.  You can make the handle longer or shorter here depending on your desired look.
4. Place adhesive along the top edges of your corner folds as shown in the image.
5. Adhere one of the corners in.
6. Repeat with the other corner.  Repeat for the other sides.
7. Layer your heart pieces then adhere to the scored piece.  Write your message inside then adhere to the front of the box with a foam adhesive.  Fill as desired!  
We are using ours to hold Kisses and Chocolate Ghiradelli Squares!


This file comes with two different box bases so you can make a tall box, short box or both!  The tall box comes sized to create a finished project of approximately 
7" x 2-3/4" x 2-3/4".  The short box comes sized to create a finished project of approximately 
5" x 2-3/4" x 2-3/4".  These boxes are perfect for holding chocolate candies, gifts, even homemade goodies!  The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats and can be made larger with the Cameo or smaller to fit your needs!  

Here is the tutorial:
If you purchased this file on the Silhouette store, the file has two box bases, they both use the same box top and the same box bottom (square).

1. Cut out all your pieces. Adhere the mats in place for the lid and layer the hearts with foam adhesive.  Place a strong adhesive on your two side tabs of the lid and the long side tab of the main box.  Then place adhesive on the four bottom tabs of the main box.  Grab your box bottom (square) and place adhesive around its edges.  The adhesive is shown in the image with a white double-sided tape.
2. Grab your main box and adhere the tab to the box side to form its shape.
3. Push in two of the box bottom tabs then push down the remaining tabs.  
4. Adhere the box bottom in place.  Press firmly to secure.
5. Grab your box lid.  
6. Adhere the tab to the box side to form its shape.
7. Push in on the center score lines on each side.  Your lid should look like this now.
8. Place the lid over the box base and then adhere the layered hearts in place and tie a ribbon around the lid.  Embellish and fill as desired!
