Twist Pop and Fancy Fold Cards!

This Twist Pop Valentine card is a lot of fun to make and even more fun to receive!  The finished card is approximately 5-3/4" x 4" and comes with all the paper elements needed to make the card shown!  The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.  You can find a full tutorial and additional images on my blog.
Here is the tutorial:
1.  Cut out all your pieces.  Fold the card bas in half then layer the front card mats and adhere in place.  Create the bee and also adhere the Mine mats in place.
2.  The rectangle cut that the "MINE" is on folds to form a W shape as shown in the photo.
3.  Open the card base up and adhere the two mats in place on the inside.
4.  Next grab the rectanlge with the long score line and the crossing score lines on it.  Fold in in half as shown.
5.  Unfold that piece then fold down on one of the crossing score lines.
6.  Unfold that piece again and then fold down on the other crossing score line.
7.  Your piece should look like this now.
8.  Push in on both sides at the same time.  This will start to form a triangle shape.
9.  With both sides pushed in, this piece will now look like this image.
10. Place a strong adhesive on both sides of this piece on the triangle areas as shown.  This is the mechanisim that makes the "MINE" twist and pop.
11. Grab your card base and the triangular piece that you just created.
12. Remove adhesive from the back side and adhere the triangular piece in place, just below the mat, centering.  You need to leave enough room for the card to close properly.
13. Remore the remaining adhesive on the front triangle area.
14. Close the card and press firmly to adhere the triangle piece in place.
15. When you open your card, your piece should look like this now!
16. This is the trickiest part of the whole thing so I am placing a close up photo below to help show the detail.  This is the card base open with the MINE in the center with the "M" and "E" folded in.  Center the MINE on the card base and on the center mechanism then place a strong adhesive on the back of the "M" piece along the top-right edge and another piece of adhesive on the top-right side of the center mechanism.  DO NOT put adhesive on the bottom right side, just where it is shown in the photo.
You will then place adhesive in the opposite corner.  So on the bottom left-edge of the "E" piece and the bottom left-side of the center mechanism as shown.
17. Remove the adhesive back from the "M" side and fold the M out adhering to the center mechanism.
18. Repeat for the "E" side.
19. Here is a close up of the back side of the card to shown the placement and pieces:
20. When you flip the card back over and open it, you will now see the twist going on!

For this card, the Happy Birthday Mat has the score lines.  Adhere the cut out Happy Birthday on top then adhere the inside pieces of each letter.  Make sure it is dry and secure before moving on.  Once secured, use the score lines on the mat area to fold.  The "P & H" letters are the peak, the other folds are valleys.  The photo below shows where to adhere the inside sentiment.  The letter "B" is the left image where the star backing is the right image.  You have to get this centered really well or it will hang out of the card.
