Pretty Little Boxes!

This pretty little heart favor box is approximately 3-5/8" x 3-5/8" x 2" and has a hinged lid with a tab and slot closure! The box comes with the one piece box base, the two lid mats, the open scallop heart cut, the solid heart, and the heart cut-out piece. The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats and can be reduced in size to fit your needs!

Here is the tutorial:

1. Cut out all your pieces. Layer the heart pieces and adhere together. Layer and adhere the mat lid layers together. Adhere the heart piece with foam adheisve to the center of the lid mat. Fold the box base on the score lines and then place adhesive on the four tabs as shown with the white double-sided adhesive tape in the image above.

2. Adhere two of the tabs to the box sides to begin to form its shape.

3. Adhere the remaining two tabs to the box sides. Your box should look like this now!

4. The tab of the box tucks into the slot on the front to close.

5. Adhere the lid mat in place, centering. Fill and embellish as desired!

We have filled our boxes with ghirardelli squares and a large brownie!
