This Fold Over Heart Bag is approximately 2-3/4" x 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" and is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats. This file comes with the bag, inside mat for heart (could use clear/acetate for the heart to make a window), and the scallop mat. This bag is easy to assemble making it perfect for last minute gifts, party favors, or bulk creation!
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out the bag in your desired papers and fold on the score lines. Note: The two fold lines
closet to the front (heart panel) fold in. Adhere your panel for the heart (pattern or clear) and
then adhere your scallops on.
2. Flip the bag over and place adhesive on the long side tab.
3. Fold the scallops down and adhere in place.
4. Fold the side with the tab into the center and fold the other side of the bag over to meet it.
Press down to adhere the sides together.
5. Pop the box into shape then adhere the bottom tabs together then adhere the large bottom
flap to finish the box bottom.
6. Turn your box upright and pinch in the sides to give shape then fill with goodies!
The finished project is approximately 7" x 7" x 2" (widest areas) and the center is made to house a battery operated tealight candle (approximately 1-1/2" diameter).
