Accordion Wall Decor
Good Morning!
Today I am sharing my new Accordion Wall Decoration Pieces! These are perfect for parties of all kinds and even great for room decor!
This accordion wall circle comes with the accordion base, the burst center, a background circle, the graduation cap silhouette, and the star. You can use this one without the graduation pieces as well! The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats and it is sizable to fit your needs. As it comes sized, this one is approximately 16-1/2" in diameter!
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out all your pieces. Grab one of the accordion pieces to start with.
2. Accordion fold on the score lines making peaks and valleys as you go.
3. Continue doing this until you have all five pieces folded.
4. Adhere the ends of the pieces together.
5. Your piece should look like this now.
6. Place adhesive on one end and join the pieces together to form the circle.
7. Adhere your center piece together with foam adhesive.
8. Place a strong adhesive (like hot glue) on the entire backside of your large circle.
9. Adhere it on the back of your accordion circle. This gives your circle support and allows it to stay in its position when hanging or placed on the wall.
10. Flip your accordion piece back over.
11. Adhere your center in place.
12. Your project should look similar to this now.
