3D Layered Rose and Penstemon Paper Flowers

I love these two flowers!  They each come with layers
so you can achieve so many different looks!

Let's start today with my Layered Rose:
Here is the tutorial:

1.  Cut out all the pieces and pinch the leaves on the score lines.  Ink around the edges of the flower pieces if desired.
2.  Adhere the coordinating layer piece on the larger pieces as shown.  Note, the two smaller pieces do not have layers.
3.  Use a pencil or skewer to roll the petals on the flowers in all different directions.
4.  For the smallest piece, wad up the petals and squish them together.  This will be the center of the flower.
5.  Adhere the center of the flower into the next smallest shape...
6-9.  Adhere it in the next size flower shape and scrunch it up...continue doing this until all flower pieces are in place.
10.  Adhere the leaf pieces to the bottom to finish.
11.  Fluff out the layers a little to get your desired shape.

Next up is my Penstemon Flower
Here is the tutorial:
1.  Cut out all the pieces and pinch the leaves on the score lines.  Ink around the edges of the flower pieces if desired.
2.  Place adhesive on the back of the detail layer pieces.
3.  Then adhere them to the coordinating flowers.
4.  Your pieces should look like this.  Note, the two smaller pieces do not have layers.
5.  Use a pencil or skewer to roll the petals on the flowers in all different directions.
6.  For the smallest piece, place the center circle piece in the center and squish all the piece up toward the center.
7. Wad up the petals and squish them together.  This will be the center of the flower.
8.  Adhere the center of the flower into the next smallest shape...
9.  Wad up the petals and squish them together again.
10.  Use a pencil or skewer to roll the petals on the larger flowers in all different directions.
11.  Adhere the center piece you created to the smallest of the larger flowers.
12-13.  Continue bending the petals up and adhering it to the next sized flower set.
14.  Fluff out the layers a little to get your desired shape.
15.  Adhere the leaf pieces to the bottom to finish.

Hi Neva! I just used regular card stock for these flowers. Thanks! Jamie

Thanks, I thought it was a special paper.

Would have been a bit more helpful if you included images of the pre-petal shapes so they could be printed or traced from a screen...

Can I use your photo of the paper rose for my craft shop logo?

If you create your own paper flower using my file that is fine but I do not allow my photos for that use. Thank you!
