Forget the pom poms...

Do you have sports players in your house?  If you said yes, then you NEED this set!  This is the Sports Fever Stamp Set from the Sweet Stamp Shop and it is perfect for boys and especially girls!  Take a peek...
Today I made a basketball card using this set and papers from Momenta!
Cardstock: White (Recollections)
Pattern Paper: Vacation Pyramid Pad (Momenta)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento) and Rusty Hinge, Barn Door, and Vintage Photo by Tim Holtz (Range)
Ribbon: May Arts
Pen: White Gel (Sakura)
Punch: 1/2" Corner Rounder (Zutter)

To create my card, I stamped the basketball image several times on Yellow/Orange paper from Momenta's Vacation Pyramid Pad using black ink.
Next, I cut five of the basketballs out
I embossed the basketballs and inked them with Rusty Hinge Distress ink.
Did you know that you can use Fiskars embossing plates in your Cuttlebug?  I have so many of these from so long ago :) and I just love how much easier they are in my Cuttlebug.  I put the A plate down, then a rubber mat, my paper (facing up), and then add the embossing plate (side I want embossed down), and finally the C plate!

Once I have all the basketballs inked, I place foam adhesive under each and add them to my card!

The Sweet Stamp Shop and Momenta will be teaming up this coming week to bring you lots of inspiration and prizes too!  It is going to be a FABULOUS week, so be sure to stop by both the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog and the Momenta Blog each day!
