Christmas Lists, BIG "untagged" presents, and yummy-yummy cookies (thanks Aunt Kim!!)
Chili, Football, and Visit to Santa!
Trip to the dentist, a spot on the "No Cavitiy Wall", and a restored ottoman!
The rest of my December Daily Posts will come after the New Year!
I have been doing my December Daily book each night before heading to bed...remembering photos throughout the day and then finding a spot to add the posts amongst my other blog posts seems to be the hardest part for me!
Whhheewww....we survived the birthday weekend and one snow day! :)
We have been busy getting ready for all of Hannah's birthday parties! On the 8th, I made 70 cookies and 1-1/2 pounds of homemade frosting to go with them, received some amazing twine from the Twinery, and spent a lot of time on the phone with a DT conference call and with my sister (boy do I miss her!)! On the 9th I applied the frosting to the cookies and sprinkled them with green sugar crystals...just in case the 1-1/2 pounds of frosting wasn't enough, went shopping and found some amazing deals at Target, and met Melissa from Disney Dreamer Designs! Today is Hannah's ELEVENTH birthday! She has a party at school today, our family dinner and gifts this evening, a friend party tomorrow at the skating rink, and our Michigan family party on Sunday! A whole weekend of Hannah, she is so excited...I am just hoping I have everything done that I am suppose to! :)
More baking today in attempt to recreate my Mom's famous Christmas Tree cookies and frosting! Wish me luck!
I was looking for a unique gift to give to a family member when I found a Rubix-like cube! I chopped up six photos to add to each side. Such a fun way to mix and match the family!
December Daily days 6 and 7 - snow and happy mail!
Momenta has 12x12 Christmas Textured Cardstock Pads and Sticker sets at Tuesday Mornings!! I love Tuesday Mornings, one of my favorite places to browse and find deals! I created a Christmas List log book where I can keep the wants and the boughts for everyone on my list!
December Daily for days 4 and 5 include Eclipse :) and Vampires Suck (the kids answer for my vampire obsession) and wrapped presents under our tree!
Do you have any of the Haunted Collection from My Mind's Eye laying around from Halloween? I found a perfect use for some of the papers - Holiday Tags! This paper had a felt blackbird and cage, but I punched around him to get the pattern paper on one side and the other is just plain kraft cardstock, which is perfect for signing the "to" and "from"!
Of course, the Little Yellow Bicycle Cardmaking Stickers make them fast and cute!
Supplies:
Paper: Haunted Collection (My Mind's Eye)
Stickers: Cardmaking Clear Stickers (Little Yellow Bicycle)
Misc: Twine and Eyelets
December Daily Days 2 & 3 and I am starting to see why others struggle with this assignment already {sigh}. Getting the photos and printing them for my book takes up some time but then I have to print Hannah's and Gannon's too! It will be great to see them all complete in the end and they are having fun...which is what it is all about!
Gannon has decided to join Hannah and I with our daily books, I created this 5" x 7" book for him:
And this is his first page, he took the photos and pasted them in!
You can see Hannah's pages on her blog HERE!
Some of the girls on one of my design teams are doing the December Daily. This is the first year I have heard of it, but it didn't take me long to figure out that I wanted to do one too! :) Since this is my first stab at documenting a whole month day by day, I wanted to simplify the album and keep each page similar so I create Day Blocks as well as a Journaling Block to use on each page. If you want my downloads, you can click on the links below to get them: (The Word doc has all 31 days - the jpg file will have to be modified for each day)

For my 9"x6" book I am using SEI's Kris Kringle Collection and I have each day as a page with the exception of 12/10 (Hannah's bday) and 12/25 (Christmas) which each get a two page spread:
Hannah, my 10 year old, has also decided to take a try at the December Daily project so she has been working very hard to get her book ready! She will have it up on her blog once she completes! I am very excited to do this with her and to see her perspective on our days!
If you have a book that you are doing (or have done), link me up...I'd love to see it! My 'intent' is to post each page in my book as I put them together in December...we will see how that works! :)
I am linking up with SEI's Link Party:
