Holiday Treat Boxes

These Holiday Treat Boxes are approximately 3-1/2" x 2" x 3/4" and are perfect for holding 2-3 Ghirardelli Squares.  You can adhere the top together or attach a ribbon through the slots.  These are perfect for office gifts, teacher gifts, and more!  You can even roll money and place inside then hang on the Christmas trees for those teenagers that are hard to buy for!


Tree Treat Box

Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut your pieces and fold on the score lines.  Place adhesive above each of the score lines on the main box as shown with the white adhesive in the photo.  Place adhesive on the side tab on the front of the mat (shown with arrow).
2. Flip the mat piece over and add adhesive on the backside of the tab, then across the two wider areas along the top.  NOTE: Do not put adhesive on the two smaller pieces, these are the "sides" of the box and you don't want those sticky!
3. Adhere the wide solid part of the mat to the box making sure that your adhesive is along the top so the mat will have adhesive holding it at the top and bottom.
4. Wrap the mat around and adhere the tab in place.  Make sure you keep the "box" shape, do not let it bend in when placing the mat around.
5. Finish wrapping the mat around, making sure to keep it level and keep the shape of the box.
6. Your box should look like this now.
7. Cut out your embellishments.  Place a small dab of glue on one side of the bow center piece.
8. Wrap it around a pencil tip or skewer to form a loop and adhere in place.
9. Place adhesive in the center of the bow.
10. Then adhere the center in place.
11. Adhere the bow to the tree top.
12. Use foam adhesive to adhere the tree to the front center of the box!  Fill with Ghirardelli Squares and embellish as desired!

The finished project is approximately 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and comes with all the paper elements shown. The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.

This Holiday Gift Card Box is approximately 4-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 1/2" and is perfect for holding a standard gift card.  You can adhere the top together or attach a ribbon through the slots.  These are perfect for hanging on the Christmas tree too!

Ornament Gift Card Box

To assemble the box, follow the instruction for the treat boxes at the top of this post.  For the Ornament, adhere the mats on the ornament cuts and fold in half on the score line.  Place adhesive on the full back of one of the ornaments.  Adhere the ornaments to each other, one on each side of the ornament with the adhesive.  Adhere the ornament to the box (I used foam adhesive to adhere mine).  Fill the box with your gift card and add ribbon and twine to complete!
