Wall Hanger Layout
What!? I know...my titles are lacking much creativity...but hey, at least I am back to posting on a somewhat regular basis! :)
This project started as another Hobby Lobby clearance find. I found these little hooks for $1.24 each. I wasn't so found of the vegetables but adored the rustic hooks, so I figured I would repaper them for Hannah's room. We are getting ready to repaint and reorganize her room to remove the Tinkerbell (insert sadness here...why do they grow up so fast?).
Anyway, as I began repapering I realized that I needed something larger so I ended up creating a layout for my wall hanger...a little weird, yes...but I think it works!
I built the layout on a thick piece of 12x12 chipboad and then attached the wall hanger with adhesive to the layout and then used the wall hanger hardware to secure the chipboard to the wall hanger.
The qoute reads:
"Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams." — Ashley Smith
Supplies:
Paper/Stickers: Apple Cheddar Soup (Jillibean)
Letters/Ribbon/Fibers: Jillibean Soup
Gems: Dew Drops (Robin's Nest)
Pen: Brown Dual Tip Marker (Creative Memories)
Ink: Chestnut Roan (Cat's Eye Chalk Ink)
Wall Hanger: Clearance @ Hobby Lobby
This is going to look great in her room with her coordinating mirror! :)
Now, I am going to have to see what we can do about getting Jillibean to turn these lines into fabric so I can tie in the bedspread or accent pillows! How sweet would that be!?
