I love the guy cuts on the Father's Day cartridge! These are perfect for so many guy themed projects! Such a great addition to a page or as the main focus on a card! ScrapbookPal.com has the Limited Edition cartridge right now for $23.99! To create this card, cut the "Best Dad Ever" cut at 3-1/2" in the green pattern paper, saving the background and the "dad". Repeat the last cut in Kraft cardstock, using either a Cricut marker or mini Sharper/holder, then switch back to your blade housing and repeat the cut again! Cut the corresponding background at 3-1/2" in the Orange pattern paper. Adhere the green background to the center of the card as shown. Adhere the Orange background to the Kraft cut, then use foam squares to adhere it to the card. I adhered the Green "dad" on top of the Kraft cut of the "dad" then used small foam squares to pop them up from the card. Add in the screw brads and create dots along both edges of the card as shown.
Supplies:
Cricut Accessorie: Mini Sharpie/Mini Sharpie Holder (Chomas Creations)
Cardstock and Pattern Paper: Creative Memories Pen: Black Dual-Tip Pen (Creative Memories)
Misc: Brads and Foam Squares
Just an older layout I found using My Little Shoebox
Lots going on over here - but not a whole lot that I can share...most of what I have been creating is either for DT assignments, publications, or specific requests for websites - not that I am complaining by any means, it just leaves me little time to create for postings here on my blog!
So, today you get a Sneak Peek of one of my DT assignments using My Mind's Eye Lime Twist! This line has such adorable papers!
Ohhh, did you see that last photo? That little banner was created using the We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy Tool and the large banner attachment...I am just LOVING this tool and all the attachments, just so much fun!

For those of you that haven't had a chance to see or create with the Kanban Crafts, I want to show you the English Riviera paper! It is a heavyweight foiled, 12" x 12" card stock that also has one 4.5" x 12" foiled coordinating piece that can be added to any existing 12" x 12" card stock to create a coordinating double page layout or used along with the page it is attached to! I love this idea so much and many of the Kanban papers come partnered like this! Isn't it such a great idea!?
This is my page created from the English Riviera collection:

I absolutely love this Black Bird Luxury Card Making Kit, the designs are amazing and the quality of the product is unbelievable. The paper is so heavy and thick, I just fall more in love with it with every creation!
Both of these cards were created using:

My hubby has been out of town on a business trip and we welcomed him back home last evening and he brought us amazing surprises that I just had to share!
They are Watchover Voodoo Doll's!
This one is Hannah's, my 11 year old teenager:
This is Gannon's, my 8 year old who often yells and has red hair! LOL
And mine, any of you who know me know that I love monkey's!
Aren't they just perfect. I absolutely love these little guys and so do the kids! I have mine hanging in my art room and the kids each hung theirs on their beds.
So-So Cute!
I have always struggled with "guy" cards! I find them very intimidating and I am always jealous of all of the great homemade guy cards when I see them! You can imagine how happy I was to have found that Kanban Crafts has an "All About Boys Collection" and they have thought of it all! This motorcycle scene comes as a frame and has an extra motorcycle so all I had to do was adhere it with foam squares! I trimmed the background cardstock to match the frame corners, punched out a sentiment and added scallop borders in the same background paper and I LOVE IT! Boy Birthday:

Other: Punch: EK Success, Foam Squares, Misc. Ribbon
My next card is so much better in person. I tried several angles with the camera shots, but I just couldn't get the "in person" feel to appear! This is another scenery that comes with lots of layers, which really bring the card to life! You can see the all the layers in the second photo.

My Sister-in-law, Kim created a binder of all (LOL a binder would not hold that!) some her scrappy supplies and she takes it with her when we go out shopping so that she knows what she has at home! I just loved the idea and had to try one for myself! My album is 5" x 8-1/2" and is sporting some of my favorite Scrap Within Reach, Paper Boy!
I have 60 pages, many of which are still empty...need that room to grow, right!? :)
I printed notebook paper on a thick white cardstock (my HP B8550 large format photo printer has this feature built in and I LOVE it!) to use as the pages. I have a few graph sheets at the end of the book as well...not sure what to use them for yet - I just have an addiction to graph paper!
For some of the pages, I copied photos from the internet into Word then printed them out so that I would be able to see the products:
I even printed a "tiny" version of the Copic chart...
And these are Stamps by Judith...something Kim has a lot of! She talked me into these during the Mega Meet earlier this month! You should see her book of stamps...you'd be as jealous as I am! :)
And of course a rubber band to hold it all together as it runs free in my purse!
Don't you just love the idea!?
And as long as I write down the new stuff, I will never have a duplicate again!
Thanks for the inspiration Kim! Hannah and I had a lot of fun pulling out all the stuff and adding it to my book!
Have you heard of Chomas Creations? Amy Chomas is a fellow Cricut lover who wanted an easy to use Gel Pen Holder for her Cricut her simple request for her husband to create one turned into a business, it is such a sweet story! You can click HERE to read more! They are a home based business now and get extra help from the father in law, who manufacturers their parts. The best part is everything is made in the USA! I have been working with Amy and using her products! I absolutely love how easy the holders (yes it is plural! She has gel pen and mini sharpie holders for the Circut and Silhouette) are to use and move in and out of my Cricut machine. I also love the variety of colors of the Chomas Creations gel pens...they even have glitter!
This card was made with the glittered gel pens/holder:
And Gannon requested a notebook after he found this motorcycle on the Father's Day Cricut cartridge! I created this with the mini sharpie holder!
