This Jillibean Spotted Owl line is just so adorable, I couldn't resist :) The little owls, the banners, the printed sentiment paper...yes, ADORABLE! I have been buying the 6x6 pads which are so perfect for making cards!
Speaking of 6x6 pads...I recently found a bunch at Claudia and Company which is an amazing online store filled with LOTS of great paper companies! I do not know why one of you didn't tell me about them before!! Seriously, I love what they carry (they even have The Twinery!) and I love that they also make 6x6 Sampler Packs so I can try companies that I haven't tried before as well as afford a variety of different packs! :) No, I am not being given anything to rave about them - I am just THAT EXCITED about them! :) Go check them out...it is so worth a browse! :)
Anyway, back to my card...

Gannon found a new demo on the PlayStation store called Kung-Fu Live. It uses the Eye Toy so that the individual playing can actually be in the game. The game even shows you how to pose so you can be in the comic book clips. The game photos were take from my camera against the TV screen and the main photo was Gannon in action! Such a clever way to game! :)

I have been going through my older stash of photos and today I am bringing you a new layout with photos of my kids from 2002! Gannon was just a little peanut and Hannah was still in her phase where she actually enjoyed her brother...boy I miss those days! :)
For this layout I used P K Sticky Tape to add strips of Tropical Rain glitter! I love how Sticky Tape can be added anywhere on a layout and you can coordinate those strips with different colors of glitter! Supplies:
Paper: Family (Momenta)
Sticker: Emily's Gardern Clear Layered (Momenta)
Twine: The Twinery
Ribbon: American Crafts
Punch: Border (EK Success)
Today is my last 'official' post as a P K Glitz designer. I want to extend a great big "thank you" to Janelle and Tammy for all the opportunities, wonderful leadership, and all the fun playing with the P K Glitz team and products! I have had an amazing time!

I love the look of glitter, there is just something about the way it changes the entire look and feel of a project! One of the easiest and quickest ways I have found to use glitter is with the P K Glitz Sticky Papers, Sticky Tapes, and Wonderfilm. The best part is that you can use your die cut machines and punches with the Sticky Papers and Wonderfilm!
For this card, I punched out the open scallop circle shape with Sticky Paper, peeled the paper off to expose the sticky side, then added P K Glitter Glitz in Tropical Rain! Supplies:

I came home to two BIG boxes of happy mail! Just look at all this:
Most of this is from the new releases and the lines are just ADORABLE! If you haven't had a chance to see them, be sure to check out the MyMomenta blog. I have been updating it each week featuring the new lines!
I didn't clear out nearly enough room for all these goodies, so I am going to have to spend today rearranging (which we all know I love doing)! I can't wait to organize and play!
Momenta also sent me a couple "Free to be Me" bags...
Aren't they adorable!
Be sure to leave a comment below for your chance to win one for yourself!
I will randomly pick one winner next week.

I finally finished all of my IKEA frames and got them hung on the wall! Of course, this wall is opposite all of the windows in my living room, so getting a photo without glare is impossible...at least for me!
I have plenty of room for growth, though I am liking it as it is right now.
I know I have been on a spritzing roll, but I really can't get enough of my Ritzy Ditzy Glitz sprays! For this card, I punch out six stars and sprayed two small and two large with three colors; Garnet, Copper, and Bronze! I love how I can customize to get a color all of my own and more importantly, one that compliments my project! Supplies:
Cardstock: White (Creative Memories)
Pattern Paper: Tree Love (Nikki Sivils)
Punch: Star Maker and Loveable Mini Pocket (Creative Memories) and Corner (Martha Stewart)
Ribbon: American Crafts
Pen: Brown Dual-TIp (Creative Memories)
Ink: Dark Brown (Cat's Eye Chalk Ink)
Sticker: Sentiments (Creating Keepsakes)
Creative Memories has a punch called the Scallop Circle Maker which is quickly becoming one of my most favorite tools. It seems I am pulling this punch out with every project I have been doing :) My favorite feature is that it has two different punch modes; a solid scallop or one with holes punched...you can even combine the two for a third look! Just so many ways to use it!
I have a tutorial below to create flowers using the punch!
Another variation:
For these flowers I used the two larger layers (the one slice and the two scallops cut out) of the Scallop Circle Flower I did previously, then punched three small flowers with the Friendship Micro Maker (pictured below). I placed a small Foam Square in the center of the Scallop Circle then applied one small flower, then placed a second small Foam Square in the center and then applied another small flower. I placed the third small flower on top with the tape runner.
Here is the tutorial for the flowers made in this post: Supplies:
Paper: Blossom Soup 6x6 Paper Pad (Jillibean Soup)
Punch: Scallop Circle Maker (Creative Memories)
Adhesive: Foam Squares (Creative Memories)
Jewel: Gradient Gem Sticker Red (Creative Charms)
Misc: Hot Glue, Toothpick
In my shadow box I sprayed the flowers with Bronze Ritzy Ditzy Glitz from P K Glitz to give them some shimmer!
I have more flower tutorials coming on Thursday and Friday :)
I created this game controller card by cutting the game card at 4-1/2" in black, cutting the game card with shift on at 4-1/2" in black and then again in yellow. I used foam squares to pop up the yellow controller parts and place red jewels in the other control openings! I used the Sakura White Gelly pen to create dashes along the edges.
Supplies:
Cardstock: Texture (Momenta)
Sticker: Birthday (SRM)
Jewels: Gradient Gem Stickers - Red (Creative Charms)
I love the colors of this card and of course the big puffy racecar sticker from Momenta!
Supplies:
Cardstock: White (The Paper Studio)

When I was little my Grandmother use to give me catalogs to cut strips from to make paper beads for bracelets and necklaces, something that I always loved doing. I remember sitting on her couch for hours cutting, rolling, and gluing! Of course now that we have amazing scrapbook papers, the rolled paper beads are so much prettier! I created the paper beads for the center of my flowers with Jillibean Soup's Blossom Soup line:

Journaling:
Definition: Someone who is both friend and enemy, a relationship that is both mutually beneficial or dependent while being competitive, fraught with risk and mistrust.
You two. Where do I even begin? The relationship between the two of you isn’t easy. You are the best of friends and the worst of friends. You love each other and repulse each other and usually in the same breath. You argue and fight on a daily basis. You both find each other’s faults and pick on them. You figure out what annoys the other and dwell on it. It is a constant battle, each and every day. You can’t stand to be together, yet you don’t dare be apart! But I see the uncontrollable bond that holds you together so tightly even though you don’t. I see the love that you share that you both deny. I see the importance that you guys have in each other’s lives and at some point you will each see it too.
It is just my hope that it is soon!
