Winter Woodland has these amazing snowflakes and they are wonderful for making ornaments or tags for gifts! I am going to show you how to turn one of these cuts into a 3D object!
First you will need to cut out four snowflakes at all of the same size!
I am using the Layers option with the third snowflake from the left on the top row. I cut four of these at 4".
Next, we are going to emboss the snowflakes to give them texture. I am using the 5" x 7" Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
The third step is to create one score mark in the center of each snowflake. Once you have the score marks on all four snowflakes, fold the raised dot side together.
Place adhesive on the backs of the snowflakes (the indented side) and match one side together. You will continue adding the snowflakes until all sides are matched!
And then you have your snowflake!
Supplies:
Scrapbook Paper: White (The Paper Studio)
Misc: Baker's Twine
Be sure to stop by on the BLOG HOP on 12/3 to see what I used one of my snowflakes for!

This is the last of my Momenta Boxed kits, for now! This one is the Abstract Fusion Kit! Aren't these papers fun!? So much color! And check out Hannah's funny pool photo, she is such a HOOT!
Our Scrap Within Reach Design Team has been doing the Twelve Days of Christmas over on the Scrap Within Reach Blog! The projects are soo cute, you have to check them out! I started the fun off with the Afternoon Tea Collection and the Partirdge In A Pear Tree!
You can click on the links below to see the others!
Aren't they just wonderful!? I can't wait to see what is created next!
I am often amazed by the products at our dollar store! I found a package of two glass salt/pepper shakers for a dollar! Yes, it is those little moments like that which make me so excited. :) So, you have shakers...and lots of buttons...what else do you do!?
I love this project. It is just one of those that make me smile every time I look at it. I think it is cute and would make a wonderful little gift (that we can all afford!)! I have the steps below!
Step 1 - Find buttons and wire (you need floral tape too!).
Layer a button or two, bend the wire in half and then press the wire down through the button holes.
Step 2 - Twist the wire tightly on the back side of the button
Step 3 - Wrap the wire with Floral Tape (which my dollar store carries as well)! I wrap the top section (close to the button) several times to make it thicker then tightly wrap the remaining wire, just putting one layer around. If you get it thick in the stem area you will not be able to get it through the holes of the shakers.
Step 4 - Trim to length
Step 5 - Place the button flowers through the holes of the shaker and arrange them!
Isn't it fun!?

Momenta is releasing these amazing boxed kits. They are packed full of papers, borders, tags, alphas, quotes, even chipboard accents and buttons! Everything you need to create, even an album to put it all in! Even before I began designing with Momenta, I was a HUGE fan of their albums!
This kit is Villa! Isn't it lovely!?
And because I love working with these kits, I will have a couple more coming up!
With two young kids, it seems I am always in need of gifts! I created this box to hold pencil and pens as a teacher gift. Using Wonderfilm with a circle punch makes this tag an easy embellishment to the box. I punch four small circles attached them to each side of the tag and then sprinkled them with Glitter Glitz in four coordinating colors!
Supplies:
Glitter - Glitz in Soft Green, Chartreuse, Crimson, and Gold (P K Glitz)
Adhesive - Wonderfilm (P K Glitz)
Paper - Apple Cider (Imaginisce)
Ribbon - Apple Cider (Imaginesce)
Punch: Scallop Flower Maker and Circle Maker(Creative Memories)
To create this box, cut chipboard to 11 3/4" x 8 1/2" then score at 1 1/2", 3 1/2", 5 7/8", 7 7/8", and 10 1/4". Turn chipboard and score at 1 1/2" from the bottom edge. Cut from the bottom edge up to the 1 1/2" score mark to form 6 tabs. Fold all the edges in (some will overlap each other, but it keeps the box strong) and use a strong adhesive to hold it all together!
This month at P K Glitz we are using sketches by The Scrappiest Sketches! Be sure to stop by the blog to see the other design team members take throughout the month!
Supplies:
Glitter - Glitz in Timber (P K Glitz)
Ritzy Ditzy Glitz in Copper (P K Glitz)
Adhesive - Quickie Glue Pen (Sakura)
Paper - Industrial Park (Scrap Within Reach)
Rub On - Industrial Park (Scrap Within Reach)
Pen - Brown (Sharpie)
Punch: Border (EK Success)

3. A Fall Card
4. Fall Tag

These stickers are just adorable and there is so much already added to them! They really make for some super cute and quick projects!
Hannah's birthday is just around the corner so we have already started the planning! This year we are having a roller skating party...isn't that fun!? I am excited. I just love watching the kids skate - something about the skating rink that is really just timeless.
As we sat down over the weekend to determine the design of the invites, I just happened to check for a Skate SVG and found one at SVGCuts.com! Hannah quickly picked out paper and I began the Word Art and after a couple changes this is what we ended up with: We did them post card style so all the information about the party is on the backside. We put together 12 of these (so far...the list keeps growing!)! Aren't they adorable! I can't wait to start planning party decor and favors with Han...I love when she gets all creative with me!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Kraft (The Paper Studio), Green & Cream (Momenta)
Pattern Paper: Rock Star (DCWV) and Metallic (Momenta)
Adhesive: Foam Squares (Helmar)
I was so excited to receive Winter Woodland from ScrapbookPal.com for this month's projects! This cartridge has an amazing font and lots of winter cuts, including snowflakes! For this card I used the Snkwflk3 for the snowflake cut at 4" and then used the circle base of Snwfl1_S cut at 4" in the light purple and 4 1/2" in the deep purple.
Cut the card base at 5 1/2" x 8" and fold in half to form a 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" card.
Trim two pieces of ribbon at 5 1/2" and adhere to the center of the card.
Ink the edges of the circles with Wisteria Cat's Eye Chalk Ink and then layer the light purple circle on top of the deep purple circle. Place foam squares under the large cicles and adhere them toward the left edge of the card, centering.
For the snowflake cut, add crystal Stickles in the circles and on the large scallops, let dry.
Adhere the snowflake to the right edge of the circle using foam squares.
Add sentiment to the top left side of the card.
I love all the spakles and texture!
Supplies:
Scrapbook Paper: Relaxed (Momenta)
Stickers: Black Tie Mini Chipboard (Momenta)
Ribbon: Boho Chic Trim (Making Memories)
Cricut Storage is something that I have struggled with for quite some time. I have a small den area for my scrap space and I don't have the luxury of being able to store the cartridges in their original boxes. My last attempt at storage was a cardboard box that I cut down and though it worked for storage, it was difficult to get the the cartridge I wanted and even more difficult to put it back!
In my attempts to find a solution, I ran across the Scrap'n Tote Cricut Cartridge Storage system! Have you seen this yet? This thing, in my opinion of course, is genius! It is a custom catalog binder made big enough to hold 36 cartridges with their books and overlays, some tools, and a 12x12 mat! All perfectly organized and in ONE binder! The Scrap'n Tote comes with 12 "Easy-View" sheets. These are thick, sturdy page protectors with three separate compartments that each hold a cartridge, book, and overlay. You also receive a free clear zipper pouch, velcro closures (which are optional for usage), and divider tabs to help with your organization! Take a look at my storage now: Amazing difference, right!? It is so easy to flip through, easy to locate and pull out my cartridge, and easy to put it all back away! I seriously love this solution!
I love it so much that I am going to giveaway a pink Scrap'n Tote!
