3D Flowers and Doily Flower Cards

Hello!  Today I am sharing my new flower files!  I am so excited about the possibilities with all of these and can't wait to see what you guys create with them!

Here's the tutorial:
1.  Cut out all your pieces.  Adhere the two centers together and pull the points up as shown.
2.  Adhere the layer cuts on the coordinating solids.  Curl the petals slightly with the skewer.
3.  Adhere the center in the middle of the smallest flower.
4.  Adhere that in the center of the middle flower.
5.  Adhere the largest flower on the bottom and bend to your desired shape.

Here's the tutorial:
1-2.  Cut out all your pieces.
3.  Adhere the layer cuts on the coordinating solids.
4.  Curl the plain flower forms as shown.
5.  Curl the flower petals slightly with the skewer.
6.  Adhere the detail flowers together largest to smallest.
7.  Adhere the flower centers together, placing the smallest in the the middle then both into the largest.
8.  Adhere the center in the middle of the flower then bend to your desired shape.

Both of the doily flowers follow the same tutorial:
1.  Cut out all the pieces.
2.  Curl the petals with the skewer.
3-8. Start with the smallest flower form and adhere it into the next sized flower.  Continue until all flower pieces are in place.
9. Your finished flower should look similar to this.  Bend the petals until you reach your desired shape.

 8.  Fold your card base in half and gather your other pieces.
 9.  Adhere your card mat on the card base with foam adhesive.
10. Adhere the leaf pieces on the back of your flower and place adhesive on the back center of the flower.
11. Adhere your flower piece on the card.  Embellish as desired.

Love all of your flowers Jamie! What adhesive do you typically use to adhere the 3d flowers? Do you use glue dots or a wet adhesive, or?

Thanks!
Shannon :)

Hi Shannon! If I am building a vase with flowers to go inside, I tend to use Hot Glue as it seems to hold the best. When I am just putting flowers on cards I use the ultra-thin glue dots and/or Zip Dry (beacon). Hope that helps!

The 3D flowers look beautiful. Have you used cardstock? What weight is best?

Thanks,
