More Easter Goodness!
Today's post is filled with Easter Goodness!
Let's start with my Carrot Box!
This file comes with the carrot base box, the slotted mats, the grass top cuts, and a cute little bunny! As sized in the file, the finished box is approximately 11" x 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" (widest areas). The box is open on the top so you can fill it with all sorts of goodies! Once you fill the box, push the grass pieces toward each other on all sides to hold the goodies inside! This file can be sized larger or smaller to fit your needs and it is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats!
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out all your pieces and fold the main box on the score lines. Place adhesive on the large tab on the box. Curl the grass pieces with a skewer/pencil.
2. Adhere the tab to the other side of the box to form.
3. Adhere the slotted mats on each side of the carrot box.
4. Place adhesive under the line (shown by the arrow).
5. Adhere the grass piece on the box edge, using that little line for placement.
6. Tie a ribbon on and adhere the bunny on top of the bow!
Next up is one of my most favorites...
This basket is a big one and can be made even bigger too! The file comes with the basket base, the mats, and the two-piece bunny tag! As sized in the file, the finished box is approximately 12" (with handle, basket is 5") x 5" x 4-1/2" (widest areas), but the file can be made larger or smaller to fit your needs and is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats!
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out your pieces.
2. Begin by adhering the bottom tab to the bottom piece as shown, centering.
3. Continue until all pieces are in place.
4. Adhere the second bottom piece in place, to cover the tabs.
5. Adhere the two handle pieces together, using the little line on the one as a guideline.
6. Put the handle pieces in each slot. Place adhesive on each side tab.
7. Adhere the side tabs to the other pieces. Tuck one side of the basket bottom under and the other on top, following a pattern around the basket.
8. Adhere the mats in place then add in the tag and embellish as desired.
This file comes with the basket base, the mats, and the two-piece Hunting for Eggs Sentiment! As sized in the file, the finished box is approximately 7" (with handle, basket is 4-1/4") x 4" x 3", but the file can be made smaller to fit your needs and is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats!
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out your pieces.
2. Adhere the mats on the box (make sure to adhere the side mats just under the side slots) and handle piece and adhere the sentiments together.
3. Place adhesive on the box tabs where the curves will touch and adhere them in place. Insert the handle pieces then adhere the sentiment in place and embellish as desired.
This card is about 4" x 5-3/4" when folded and includes the tri-fold card base, three mat pieces, the sentiment pieces with coordinating mats, and the egg with feet. You can write in between the mat areas or on the large back mat and the card can stand when folded to be displayed. The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out the pieces to the card and fold the card accordion style.
2. Adhere the mats as shown then adhere the sentiments and egg piece on as desired.
