This Stocking Count Down comes with the stocking pockets which hold the supplied notecards or standard sized gift cards. Each stocking has a tab that you can clip or tie onto and is approximately 5-1/2" tall. The notecards are 4" x 2" and have a tab that you can leave exposed for easy pulling (as shown in the photo). Simple write in your own activities or insert a few surprise gift cards and hang vertically or horizontally for all to enjoy!
These follow the same tutorial as the stockings below. The stocking below does not have the circular hanging tab.
This stocking gift card holder is approximately 5" x 4-1/2" and holds a standard sized gift card or folded money! These are super easy to put together. The stocking cuts as one piece and comes with four adhesive markers (1/4") which you can see on the below left photo. Add your adhesive and fold in half! Then add your stocking detail pieces. I use foam adhesive to adhere the top of the stocking and regular adhesive on the toe and heel.
This is my new Stocking Bag and I am just in love with it. The finished project is approximately 6-1/4" x 3" x 5-1/2" and it is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats. The inside box area is approximately 6" x 3" x 2".
Here is the tutorial:
1. Start with the main box. Fold on all the score lines and add adhesive to the side tab.
2. Adhere the tab to the other side of the box.
3. Place adhesive on the bottom of the box to close.
4. Your box should look like this now.
5. Next cut out your stocking base pieces and the details. Adhere them in place as shown.
6. Adhere them to the box as shown in the image.
7. Cut out the toe piece.
8. Place adhesive on the large space at the right end of the piece.
9. Adhere that large space to the bottom of the stocking as shown.
10. Place adhesive on each of the little tabs and adhere to the stocking on each side.
11. Your stocking will look like this now.
12. Cut the large toe piece and place a strong adhesive on it.
13. Adhere on the top of the toe, lining up the large piece with the side toes.
14. Bend the piece around and adhere under the stocking.

They follow the tutorial above, just adhere the coordinating mats (scallop or dots) in place when building the bag and then the front toe cover will adhere before you apply the front toe patch.
These little bags are the perfect way to hide a gift card! They are approximately 4-1/2" x 4" x 1-1/2" when finish and are compatible with both the 12x12 and 8x12 mats. When the recipient lifts the bag flap, the gift card lifts up to reveal itself! There is even room behind the gift card to place an additional small gift, like a pack of gum or chocolate or you can place in the receipt for the gift card in case they should need it!
I have three versions of this file available, each with its own unique design.
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out the pieces of the file. Fold on all the score lines.
2. For the main box, place adhesive on the side tab then bring the box edges together and adhere in place.
3. For the bottom of the box, fold the two side tabs in.
4. Fold the slot side up and then press the tabbed side into the slot to close.
5. For the top, place adhesive along the top edge (near the score line) then around the outside edge as shown. Do not place adhesive on the cut flap area, that is what will tuck inside the box to close it.
6. Adhere your decorative panel on.
7. This image shows the inside of the top of the box, the flap should lift as shown.
8. Next place your gift card in the tabs of the insert and then place adhesive on the long top tab. Note: If you are going to add in a handle, this is a good place to do it. Simply cut a piece of ribbon (or twine), make a loop then tie it in a knot (it will be held in place between the box and insert).
9. Match up the top edge of the insert to the top flap of the box and adhere as shown.
10. To close the box, tuck the flap inside the slot.
11. Assemble the decorative element.
12. Adhere the ric-rac piece to the box lid and then adhere the decorative element on the box as desired.
