This cutie-patootie comes all colored up and has two layers that you can pop up to give her more life! She can be sized to fit your needs and is perfect for so many projects!
Once you have the file in your software, click on the "Page Tool Window", it is the fourth icon from the right on the top bar. Select the paper size you will be printing on. I changed mine to Letter to print on 8-1/2" x 11.
Next click on the "Registration Window" icon (second from right) and click the "Show Reg Marks" box. Position your cuts within the registration mark areas.
Click on the Send to Silhouette Icon (sixth icon from the left) then click the link to print.
Follow the instruction on the screen...
Align your paper on your mat matching how it is displayed on your computer (make sure the arrow is pointing up when placing your paper).
Load your paper then click on the Detect Automatically link and your machine will scan for the registration marks.
Once it has found the markings…it will say:
Click Cut.
Remove your pieces from your mat.
Place foam on the back of the nose and skirt pieces.
Adhere the pieces on the main image.
Super easy, right!?
Now she is ready to be placed on your project!

1. Print out your hippo on the Printable Heat Transfer Material then apply the sheet to your cutting mat. If you need help with the print and cut for the hippo, I will have a tutorial HERE.
2. Follow your screen prompts to cut your file. While my sheet is still on my mat, I lift up the edges of my hippo then remove it from the sheet backing.
3. Place your butterfly on your shirt where you want it to go.
4. Grab a thin towel or extra piece of fabric and place it over your design.
5. Iron the design in place as instructed on the packaging.
6. Viola! Your shirt is ready to go...easy, right?! (and so addicting!)
Here is a video from Silhouette that is a great reference to show more detail with the steps!
And here is my finished shirt modeled by my Hannah!
Soo cute, right? I love this hippo.
