Squeeze Open Boxes!
These new boxes are so much fun to give! The box is approximately 5" x 3-3/4" x 1-1/4" and to open you simply squeeze the sides together! These are quick to assemble and cut in one piece for the box base. The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out all the pieces and fold on the score lines. Adhere mats in place and then place a strong adhesive along the side tab and two of the bottom tabs (I have sticky on 3 bottom tabs above...BUT you just want 2 :) I had to peel mine off!).
2. Fold the box in half and then adhere the tab to the box side.
3. Push in the two bottom tabs with adhesive then place adhesive on the inside of the other two tabs.
4. Adhere the box closed. Note: You may need to place a pencil or something long on the inside to help to press for adhering the tabs in place.
5. This is what your box looks like now.
6. Squeeze the sides to open the box!
7. Embellish as desired.
