Gift Card Holder with Cindy Loo
Have you seen the Cuttlebug Embossing Companion Folders that coordinate with the Cricut Cartridges? ScrapbookPal.com carries a variety at such a wonderful price! If you haven't seen them, be sure to click HERE to take a look! This month I have been working with the Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge, the Cindy Loo Cuttlebug Embossing Companion, and Smooch colors and I have made a Gift Card Holder to share with you!
You will need to check to make sure that the scallop around the Doily4 embellishment is hidden (select just the scallop and the right-click and do "hide contour").
If you do not have Design Studio, you can cut the elements at the sizes below:
(Please note that the Doily4 will be a separate cut versus being a part of the base as it is in the cut file)
Cutting Chart:
Doily4 with Shadow Option: 2 5/8"
Doily4 with Shadow Option: 2 3/8"
Doily4: 2 3/4"
GftCrHr: 6 1/2"
Tree1 with Font Option: 3/4"
- Using a double-sided cardstock, cut the pieces.
- Once you have the Gift Card Holder cut, score it and fold. Emboss with the branch embossing folder, leaving it folded.
- Use Smooch Accent Ink to color the Doily4 embellishment on the front of the card.
- Place foam squares on the back side of the Doily4 embellishment so that they will be hidden under the 2 5/8" scalloped circle (Doily4 with Shadow option).
- Adhere the 2 5/8" scalloped circle on the foam squares and then center and adhere the 2 3/8" scalloped circle on top.
- Place adhesive on the back of the "thank you" sentiment and adhere to the center of the matted scalloped circles.
- Add in a gift card and embellish with ribbon and a jewel (for the birds eye).
