Baby Congratulations
Today is my turn on the Momenta blog to do a tutorial, so I decided to share the tutorial with you here as well!
Paper sizes:
Card base (1) in Brown: 5 1/2" x 8"
Mats (2) in Light Yellow: 5 1/4" x 3 3/4"
Border Strips (3) in Brown: 3 9/16" x 1 1/2"
Inside Strip (1) in Brown: 3 1/2" x 1"
Under Border Strips (4) in Pattern Paper: 3 9/16" x 1/2"
The first step is to take the Card base and fold in half to create a 5 1/2" x 4" card. Punch the two right corners with a 1/4" corner rounder punch. Corner punch the two mats on the two right corners. Adhere one to the top of the card and the other to the inside of the card, centering.
Next, border punch the three border strips then add adhesive to the back of each strip. Place the small pattern paper pieces under the decorative edge so that the pattern is showing through. With the fourth pattern paper piece, add it to the top of one of the border strips. Layer the border pieces on top of each other then add to the left side of the card as shown below:
Add stitching with a pen/marker and adhere the Congratulations sticker:
The final step is to add in the "Welcome to the World" sticker to the Inside Strip piece and adhere to the inside mat as shown:
