Can you believe we are at the end of October already!? Crazy.
We are trick-or-treating tonight...well, the kids are! I stay back and pass out candy so I can see all the costumes :)
Here is my final Halloween Card for this season. I have a Design Studio file for this card that you can grab through this link:
Once you have the medallions cut out (one at 4" and one at 4.5"), take your scissors and cut at each branch area toward the center (leaving about a 1/2" before hitting the center). Then fold every other one up to fluff it out. Adhere the two medallions together using a foam square. Punch a small circle in the card base color and glue it to the center of the small medallion. Adhere the bat on with a foam square and decorate the card as desired!

Some of the girls on one of my design teams are doing the December Daily. This is the first year I have heard of it, but it didn't take me long to figure out that I wanted to do one too! :) Since this is my first stab at documenting a whole month day by day, I wanted to simplify the album and keep each page similar so I create Day Blocks as well as a Journaling Block to use on each page. If you want my downloads, you can click on the links below to get them: (The Word doc has all 31 days - the jpg file will have to be modified for each day)
*****
For my 9"x6" book I am using SEI's Kris Kringle Collection and I have each day as a page with the exception of 12/10 (Hannah's bday) and 12/25 (Christmas) which each get a two page spread:
Hannah, my 10 year old, has also decided to take a try at the December Daily project so she has been working very hard to get her book ready! She will have it up on her blog once she completes! I am very excited to do this with her and to see her perspective on our days!
If you have a book that you are doing (or have done), link me up...I'd love to see it! My 'intent' is to post each page in my book as I put them together in December...we will see how that works! :)
I am linking up with SEI's Link Party:

As a thank you to our tackle football coaches for all the hard work this season, I created albums with photos from each of the games along with a coach page, player page, and included a DVD of all the photos that I took throughout the season. There were NINE books in total. I was very happy with the finished books and the coaches really enjoyed them, which is even better :)
Tuesday's are among my favorite, one...they are not Monday and two...P K Glitz has a fun creating tip up each week! This week it is my turn and today I am going to show you how I make my own epoxy-like glitter embellishments!
What you will need:
Embellishment
Wonderfilm or glue
Glitter
3D Crystal Lacquer
Select your embellishment. I am using a monster that I punched from a piece of paper.
Punch/cut a piece of Wonderfilm to match the size of the embellishment. Peel off one side of the Wonderfilm and adhere to the embellishment.
Peel off the upper portion of the Wonderfilm and cover the embellishment with glitter! Shake off excess glitter and return it to its container.
Cover the entire piece with 3D Crystal Lacquer and let dry completely.
The thicker you place the 3D Crystal Lacquer, the more depth you will get but you will have more drying time as well.
Once dry, add the embellishment to your project!
Be sure to check back Saturday to see the entire project using these little epoxy-like glittered monsters!
Another quick Christmas card!

Cardstock: Kraft (The Paper Studio)
Chipboard: Holly Jolly Collection (My Mind's Eye)
If you haven't been over to Just Jingle you need to head over and check out her blog! She is the maker of my most favorite doll in blogland, Scytale! This doll is it for me, I just don't know if it could ever get any better! I tell you all of this because as I was working with my October Kit from Tally Scrapper this little dress form with wings just jumped out at me! Now, normally I would have cut right around this and used those wheels - but because of Jingle's daily inspiration I decided to go for it! So here she is:
What I like most about her is that she has a safety pin which allows her to stick to magnets so I am able to move her from place to place or just use her as a bookmark! So thanks Jen for the inspiration to take a different step! I had a lot of fun dressing her! :)

Have you seen the PhotoBook Creator by Unibind? The PhotoBook Creator is a binding system for creating books at home. It is so easy to use and you get professional looking books in just minutes, really!! Once you design your pages (which can be photos printed on their TWO SIDED PHOTO PAPER (how cool is that) or paper of any type, like scrapbook pages you have designed), you line the pages up and place them in the spine of one of the Unibind books put it in the PhotoBook Creator and let it do its magic! It takes about 1.5-2 minutes for it to bind...and that's it! Then you can decorate the front of the book or even leave it as it comes! I am so excited about this product and my family was very impressed with my book! They even looked at it again the next morning! Take a look:
Isn't it fun! You will definetly be seeing more books...I am loving this!
Supplies:
Punches: EK Sucess and Tonic

I am still playing with the Holly Jolly Collection from My Mind's Eye and this time Gannon makes my blog entry with his ever-so-ornery spelling skills. Since I like to keep my blog "family" friendly, I was not able to post all the photos due to some letter concoctions (and yes, he got in trouble once I excused myself for a giggle - that kid!). I found these 1 1/4" unfinished wooden blocks on sale at Hobby Lobby in a package of 8 for around $2! I picked up two packages, came home and cut 1 1/4" squares from scraps and built blocks! I used Mod Podge to seal the paper so they would be more durable.
And here are some of Gannon's phrases
(which of course are much more funny in his readings):
and of course, the saying that the blocks were intended for:

Chipboard Letters: Holly Jolly Collection (My Mind's Eye)

I placed a piece of P K Glitz Sticky Paper behind the ghosts eyes and mouth and covered it with Black Glitter Glitz to give it all that sparkle! I created a tree with some spooky spiders as a home decor item!
The tree (fourth key from the left on the bottom row of the overlay) was cut at 11" in both the normal cut as well as the Layer 1 cut. The two cuts are made to be put together. Note: If you are hanging anything from the tree, you will want to cut it out in a heavy cardstock or chipboard. I am using chipboard. Once I had the two pieces cut, I sprayed the trees with a shimmer spray.
Next, you will want to cut spiders to hang from the tree! What is a spooky tree without spiders?! :) The spiders (with Layer1 and Shift on, 2nd key from the right on the second row) are cut at 5 1/2". You will want to cut two for each spider you want. Adhere a piece of fiber in between the two spiders as shown in the photos below:
Here is my completed project:
