Halloween Coffin Cards!

These coffin cards are perfect for creating invitations or sending to that special someone to wish them a Happy Halloween!  The card comes sized at 8-1/2" tall x 5-1/4" wide and opens at the side.  The designs can be used separately or together as shown!  Be sure to check out my blog for the tutorial, envelope suggestions, and more varieties with this design!

Here is the card with the inside view:

Here is the tutorial:
This file will be sized larger than the 12x12 mat with all the pieces grouped together.  In the Studio software, simply "ungroup" the file and move the pieces you want to cut to the virtual mat Note: Anything that is off to the side of the active mat will not cut so just leave the items off to the side until you are ready to cut them.  If you resize anything, make sure you do so BEFORE ungrouping items to keep all proportions accurate.

1.  Cut out all your pieces.  Once you cut out the coffin base, fold on the scoreline then add a strong adhesive to the tab.
2.  Adhere the two pieces together so that the tab is now on the inside of the card as shown.
3.  Adhere your mats in place using, one on the inside and one on the front.  You can cut a third if you'd like to adhere one to the inside front panel as well. I use a foam adhesive for the front of the card mat.
4. Your card should look similar to this now.
5.  Adhere your decorative items on to the front of the card and embellish as desired!

These coffin cards (as sized) fit in the 5-3/4" x 8-3/4" envelope.
