Today I am using Samantha's Bat Circle Set to create
hanging bat strings that I am using as part of my Halloween decorations!
I brought the file into Studio and then ungrouped the cut. I removed everything except the center bat then I resized it to 6.510" x 2.785" and cut five per string (15 in total).
I cut three 45" pieces of Black Double-Faced Satin Ribbon.
Then tied a loop in each end, cutting the end into an angle as shown below:
Next I sew each bat to the ribbon and then trim all of the strings.
...Now you are ready to hang your bat strings!
I decided to trim this set so they were all different lengths.
and I liked mine so much I decided to make another set to hang on our Cemetery Gate!
I think these would be amazing hanging in a doorway
with multiple strings like a walk through curtain too!
Your next stop on the hop is Guiseppa Gubler!
As always, I LOVE your project!! I would also love the free SPOOKY SVG file you are giving away, but I already subscribe to your blog, I didn't see a link for another newsletter, and I don't know how to leave my name in the Rafflecopter field.
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance for any help you can provide. :)
