This frame holds a 5x7 horizontal photo and a collapsable easel like frame. The frame can be folded flat for mailing allowing you to send a special photo to a friend or family member! The file is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats.
The 5x7 frames are two pieces for the main easel.
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut out the easel base pieces. Fold on the score lines as shown.
2. Place 1/4" strip of adhesive around the edge of the frame as shown with the white tape in the photo. Make sure to be on the edge as the photo slide in here.
3. Adhere the photo backing in place.
4. Place adhesive on the two back tabs and adhere the backing in place.
5. Adhere the front mat in place, lining up the inside frame area.
6. Insert your photo.
7. Your frame should look similar to this now, embellish as desired!

The 4x6 frames are one piece for the main easel. They will follow the tutorials above other than they adhere to themselves rather than a backing for the easel piece.

With Silhouette Studio, you have an active cutting are which is your white mat and an inactive space, the gray area outside the mat. Anything on the white mat will cut. Anything off to the side, the gray will not cut. You can ungroup the file and move out the pieces you do not wish to cut to that gray space. Add paper to your mat then cut. Continue moving pieces off/on your mat until you have them all cut out. Hope that helps! Jamie
