I am working with Samantha's Simple Bag Tote
and using the clover from the Clover Bag Topper to create a fun little gift!
1. Cut out the pieces shown. To get the clover piece I ungrouped everything in the file and used the release compound path. Fold on the score lines and place adhesive on the tabs of the bag base. Cut two 8" ribbon strips (for handles). This file comes with handle pieces if you want to use paper!
2. I used the Dainty Dots Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder with my Grand Calibur to emboss the bag piece.
3. Assemble your bag base then use adhesive tape to line the inside of it.
4. Place a strip of adhesive on one end of your bag piece.
5. Place your bag piece in the bag base, adhering along the sides and then adhere your bag close so it look like this!
6. Place adhesive on the inside areas of your buckle pieces.
7. String your ribbon as shown.
8. Adhere the buckles on the bag side then place a small strip of adhesive behind the ribbon. This help keep the ribbon upright.
9. Repeat the buckle steps for the other side!
10. Tie twine around your clove piece and adhere with foam adhesive to the center of your bag.
Isn't it adorable? This bag is perfect for giving gift cards, packs of gum, even money!
I purchased a string of St. Patrick's Garland from my local dollar tree and used it to top the bag instead of tissue paper!
