This Bobbin Holder box has slots available to store 32 bobbins and has handles so you can carry it with you to your sewing table! The box measures 5-1/2" x 4-1/8" x 5/8" and is compatible with both the 12x12 and 8-1/2x12 mats.
Here is the tutorial:
1. Cut the pieces in your desired papers. Fold on the score lines.
2. With the tray, place adhesive on the four tabs and then adhere them to the box sides to form.
3. Do the same for the slotted piece. Add adhesive around the four edges.
4. Push the slotted piece into the tray then adhere the sides together.
5. Insert your bobbins and your are all set to go! Note, you will need to push your bobbins in. I left the slots just fitting so they wouldn't fall out on their own. :)
Hi Jamie - I am totally loving your different organizers. Do you cut them using regular cardstock or should and could chipboard be used to make them stronger?
ReplyDeleteHi Cissy! I use a heavier cardstock for mine and they seem to be holding up well through my usage! For this one I used a 80# weight. Thanks! J.
ReplyDeleteI realize this might be a ridiculous question, but is this supposed to be split into two different sheets of paper? And are you supposed to change the size of the cut files or just cut out as the come up on your cut sheet?
ReplyDeleteHi! I am not quite sure what you mean by "split into two different sheets of paper". There are two cuts, the base box and the insert. If you have a Cameo they will fit on one 12x12 paper, if you have a Portrait, you will need to ungroup the two cuts and cut each on its own paper. Hopefully that make sense. In order to fit bobbins, you will need to cut it at the size it comes otherwise the slots will be an incorrect fit. ReplyDeleteThanks,
