Welcome to day two of the Sweet Stamp Shop August Release!
***You can see my day one card HERE***

If this is your first stop, you will want to start back at the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog to make sure you see all the creations!

You should be arriving here from Emily's beautiful blog!

Today I am using the Under The Sea stamp set!
This stamp set it full of amazing images from under the sea...
I really had a hard time choosing which images to use!
Supplies:
Stamps: Under the Sea (Sweet Stamp Shop)
Patterned Paper: Plumeria 6x6 (Basic Grey)
Cardstock: White (The Paper Studio)
Punch: Border (EK Success)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Momento)
Color: Art Grip Colored Pencils (Faber-Castell)
PITT Pastel (Faber-Castell)
Pen: Black Soot Distress Marker by Tim Holtz (Ranger)
Adhesive: Adhesive Runner and Zapdots (Helmar)
Other: Gamsol

I had so much fun coloring these stamps...just have a look!

  1. Stamp the Seaweed and three Seahorses on white cardstock with black ink.  Starting with the Seaweed, add dark green as shown.
  2. Add a lighter shade of green as displayed in the photo.
  3. With a light yellow color, add color to the tips of the Seaweed.
  4. Dip a paper blending stub on the Gamsol sponge. and then use small circles to blend the green and yellow colors together.
  5. Your Seaweed should look like this photo.
  6. On the Seahorses, add a light peach/skin toned color as shown.
  7. Clean you paper blending stub and then dip on the Gamsol sponge and blend in.
  8. Add a light brown color as shown.
  9. Blend the light brown color.
  10. Using a rose colored PITT Pastel pencil, add color as shown.
  11. With a dry paper blending stub, blend the color, carrying the rose color into the light brown as shown.
  12. Color the remaining two Seahorses using the steps above.
  13. Fussy cut all four items.
  14. Put your card front together and then stamp the Seaweed where you want it.  This will provide a shadow.
  15. Add in the first Seahorse for shadow.
  16. Then place the second Seahorse for shadow.
  17. Finally, place the third Seahorse shadow.
  18. Using foam adhesive, add in the fussy cut images directly on top of the 'shadow' stamped images.
  19. With a black Distress Marker use the brush edge and go over the "hugs, wishes, and kisses" text.
  20. Stamp the sentiment to the bottom left corner.
Thank so much for stopping by!

Be sure to stop by the Sweet Stamp Shop so you can see all the
images that come with this stamp set!

Your next stop on the hop is Kim!
