Last weekend we began builing another sledding hill for our front yard! Being a Kansas girl living in Michigan, I really get a kick out of having lots of snow to play in. The current hill is as almost as tall as my 8 year old and the kids make it to the side walk...but with the snow that is coming and the cold that is to follow...I am hoping that we get it taller and get the kids across the court by the weekend!
So, what do you do with your snow days!?
Gr8 pic! We didn't have much snow where I live in the UK, we only just managed a mini snowman :( I wish we'd had as much as u!!!! Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this pic!!!! Looks like fun!!!
ReplyDeleteDoes look like fun. We live in Michigan too...Southeast Suburb! We didn't get nearly as much as they said, you?
ReplyDeleteLove it Jamie! We are just enjoying being able to be home with nothing to do and nowhere to go! Jim just got home from China yesterday so we are having a "homecoming party" with a day off from school! :)
ReplyDeleteThat just looks like so much fun!!! The hubby and I used to go tobogganning all the time when my son was small; I would love to do it now but I don't think my "ole" self could now take the cold or the climb back up the hill! LOL!
ReplyDeleteSuch a FUN photo!:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
ReplyDeleteOurs is more like "ice days" and we spend them stuck in doors. This means that hubby can't get out to go to work; internet is slower than a snails pace; and I can't get anything done lol
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your snow and stay warm!
We had two snow days on the west "coast" of Michigan! Some are still closed today! We got 16" overnight, so we spent our snow day shoveling ourselves out so we could get to work the next day! Unfortunately, I couldn't get much done otherwise!
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
Well Kansas girl...you should see out my window right now! I am in Kansas...and it is a big white mess out there right now! I want spring more than I have ever wanted spring....like tomorrow. It is supposed to be 52 on Saturday! So I guess if I don't like the weather, I just have to wait 5 minutes! Where are you from in Kansas? I live north of Wichita! Fun times here in KS!
