I have completed my week long redo of my art room! I have more extra storage than what I thought I would end up with and everything is easy to get to, so I am very happy with the end results!

ReplyDeleteCindylu2u, The desk is a Kitchen Island by Martha Stewart that I found at Kmart on clearance a couple years ago! It is my favorite piece :) The craft storage and armoire are by Sauder. ReplyDeleteCindy, it is a wood shelf that is made to go into the slat wall. It isn't deep enough that I can cut a full 12x12 so I have to pull it down for big projects, but I love that it gets it off my desk while I am working! I have an identical shelf above my paper trays.

ReplyDeleteI bought the slat wall, plastic trays, and spinner from a local Scrapbook store that went out of business. The trays that are holding the paper are clear and are by EK Success. They can store 2 DCWV type paper pads easily per tray, with a little room to spare. I only purchased one full section of their wall, which ended up being 4' x 8' and then I purchased a smaller end piece to cut for above my work desk. Hope that helps!

What a fabulous place to create... it loos like everything you need is right at your fingertips... makes things much easier. I have stuff in totes and I forget half of the stuff that I have... I am a kitchen table crafter.
