Decorated Blocks

I am still playing with the Holly Jolly Collection from My Mind's Eye and this time Gannon makes my blog entry with his ever-so-ornery spelling skills.  Since I like to keep my blog "family" friendly, I was not able to post all the photos due to some letter concoctions (and yes, he got in trouble once I excused myself for a giggle - that kid!).  I found these 1 1/4" unfinished wooden blocks on sale at Hobby Lobby in a package of 8 for around $2!  I picked up two packages, came home and cut 1 1/4" squares from scraps and built blocks!  I used Mod Podge to seal the paper so they would be more durable.

And here are some of Gannon's phrases
(which of course are much more funny in his readings):

and of course, the saying that the blocks were intended for:

Supplies:
Paper:  Holly Jolly Collection (My Mind's Eye)
Chipboard Letters:  Holly Jolly Collection (My Mind's Eye)
Blocks: 1 1/4" Item# 165662 (Crafts, Etc!)
Misc: Mod Podge, used to seal the paper
