Teacher Pencil Box

Today I am back with an altered project using P K Glitz Glitter and Dixie Pieces Cartoon Kit
I found a little kraft box on clearance and knew it would be a perfect pencil/supply holder for one of out teachers!
I covered the box with Basic Grey Nook and Pantry Flour Sack double sided paper, inked the edges, and then sprayed the box with adhesive spray and dusted the box with my Yellow Crystal Glitter.  Once the box was dry to the touch, I added a couple layers of Mod Podge to make it more durable!
I attached little notecards to pencils I covered with P K Glitz Wonder Film and then rolled in Glitter Glitz in Chocolate and Lemonade!

Supplies:
Glitter:  Glitz in Chocolate and Lemonade and Crystals in Yellow (P K Glitz)
Adhesive:  Wonder Film and 1/2" Sticky Tape (P K Glitz)
The following are from the Dixie Pieces Cartoon Kit:
Cardstock: Olive (Bazzil)
Pattern Paper: We R Memory Keepers, Basic Grey
Jewels: Zva Creative
Other Supplies:
Punches: The Paper Studio
Stamps: Hero Arts
Ribbon: American Crafts
Ink: Chestnut Roan (Cat's Eye Chalk Ink)
Flowers: Spare Parts (The Paper Studio)

I'll be back tomorrow with my final project using the Dixie Pieces Cartoon Kit, so be sure to check back!

  3. So cute! I was a little bummed this year that my son got a male teacher. That meant no "crafty" teacher gifts this year. But I still love seeing what people are doing. Yours turned out beautifully!
