Live, Laugh, Enjoy Life

One of my most favorite things about being on a Design Team is the challenge to work with a variety of product and I often find that I am working with items I wouldn't normally purchase.  Though when I received my DT packet from Scrap Tales this month I was really worried about the Lost & Found collection by My Mind's Eye.  Don't get me wrong, I think the paper is lovely, classic if you will...but, it is just so far from my 'normal' zone that I wasn't sure what to do with it!

Typically paper patterns immediately spark ideas for me and after sitting with this paper for THREE days, I had all but given up!  No ideas what-so-ever.  None.

I picked the paper back up today and began playing with different elements of the paper, cutting them out, folding the patterns, when it finally hit me - a mini album with black and white photos!  Whhheww.  Funny thing - this is actually one of my favorite mini albums I have ever done!  I love the paper with the black and white photos and the pops of red and glitter!  Don't you love it when it just all works out!?
