Valentine's Day Tent Card

This card is approximately 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" and has a 'tent' fold so it displays upright!  The card is compatible with both the 8x12 and 12x12 mats and it comes with all the paper elements shown.  These cards sit well standing up and also display super cute on a shelf or mantel!
Here is the tutorial:
1.  Cut out all the pieces and fold on the score lines.  For the large base cut, fold the card in the center then fold both small tabs down. For the smaller base cut, fold to have a peak, valley, peak.
  • For the large base cut: adhere the large mat to the bottom square (note: this square is shorter than the other side of the card).   Add adhesive to the front small tab as shown with white adhesive tape.  Add adhesive to the bottom of the opposite small tab.
  • Adhere the rectangle to one end of the smaller base cut.

2. Here you can see the the adhesive for the long base cut piece as designated by the white adhesive tape.
3. Grab your smaller base piece and adhere the long base cut to the smaller base cut.  The smaller base cut will adhere to the small tab underneath.  You can see the joint in this photo.
4. Fold the large base cut up toward the front then adhere the tab to form the shape as shown in this image.  The card should fold flat on its self now.
5. Place foam adhesive (or adhesive if you don't want it to pop up) as shown on the back of the scallop heart piece.
6. Adhere to the front center of the card on the small fold.  Adhere the sentiment in place and embellish as desired.
Here is a close up on the fold:
