Show Me the Stamps!

Today the Tami Mayberry design team is having a hop,
sharing our creations using Tami's new Take Note stamp set!!
You should be arriving here from Tami's blog.

Every year I create a mini book for our Christmas shopping that I keep with me at all times.  I usually begin my mini book in October, so I am actually a week or two early this year!  :)

For this year book, I used Tami's Take Note (clear) stamp set which is available for purchase through Gina K Designs!

Here is the cover:
The book is made out of 5" x 7" envelopes which I cut in half, this gives each page a pocket.  The cover page has a pocket too, I place my shopping lists here so they are easy to get to.  Then the back of the book is a piece of heavy chipboard cut to the same size and covered with paper.  This provide a sturdy place so I can easily write on the pages.

Each page (the back of the envelope) has names then numbers below the names, this is where I will document what I have purchased.

The page to the right has a "want it" list and a pocket.  Every item I purchase, I grab a gift receipt and place it in the pocket for the gift I documented.  If I buy several items for different people, I have the store print out multiple gift receipts so when it comes time for returns (and yes, it ALWAYS happens), I have everything for that person in one spot!  It save so much time for me!

And of course, I use the "want it" area to write the items that are on their wish list so when I am shopping and happen to run across a great sale I can see if it was something they want rather than guessing!

Tami's Take Note Stamp Set is perfect for organizing and it has really made this years mini book so much easier!  Just have a look...
