For this month's the Blog Hop the Creative Team has
been working with a Family Fun theme!

Today I am sharing a Tic Tac Toe board game that I created using Samantha Walker's Tic Tac Toe Silhouette Cut and the Nautical Collection by Samantha Walker for Creative Imaginations!

The pieces are double-sided, both having the
red/white striped side and the blue polka dot side!
Supplies:
Pattern Paper: Nautical Collection by Samantha Walker for Creative Imaginations
Digital Die Cuts: Tic Tac Toe (Samantha Walker)
Adhesives: Aqua Liquid Glue (Tombow)
Cardstock: Creative Memories
Pen: White Gel (Sakura)
Ink: Faded Jeans and Festive Berries Distress Ink by Tim Holtz (Ranger)
Misc. Chipboard

Tic Tac Toe Tutorial:
 1.  Size the scallop board cut to 11.385" x 11.365" and cut with a navy blue cardstock.
 2.  Using the same cut as above, change your blade to a depth of 10 and then place a piece of chipboard (I use the backing from paper pads) and cut the chipboard piece twice.
 3.  Change your blade back to its normal setting.  Size the board mat to 8.765" x 8.760" then cut with red cardstock.
 4.  Size the grid to 8.040" x 8.040" and cut with white cardstock.
 5.  Change your blade back to a depth of 10 and then place a piece of chipboard (I use the backing from paper pads) on your mat and cut the X and O pieces on the chipboard piece twice.
 6.  Change your blade back to its normal setting and place the polka dot paper from the Nautical collection on your mat and cut.
 7.  Adhere the paper X and O pieces on the corresponding chipboard pieces.
 8.  Set your pieces aside to dry.  Cut the X and O pieces again using the red and white stripe paper from the Nautical collection.
 9.  Adhere the paper X and O pieces on the back sides of the corresponding chipboard pieces.
10. Adhere the navy blue cardstock on top of the chipboard scallop cut, then add the red square mat to the center of the board.  Add the white cardstock grid to the center of the red mat. Add dashes around the edges as desired with a white gel pen.
11. Ink the polka dot side of the X and O pieces with the Faded Jeans Distress Ink.
12. Ink the stripe side of the X and O pieces with the Festive Berries Distress Ink.
13. Cut a 6x6 piece of white cardstock and score 1/2" on three sides.  Remove the small squares created by the score marks then add adhesive along three edges to create a pouch.  Punch a half circle from the top edge then decorate as desired.  This pouch will be mounted to the back of the board to hold all the pieces:

Now your Tic Tac Toe board is ready for play!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
