Wait...did you see those letters? Those are part of the new CUSTOM Stickers I mentioned previously! You pick the font sticker you want and then you pick the color or design that you want to match your project! Just think of the room you would save in storage and all the money too!
I can't wait for the release, these are just perfect for my stash!
I have seen several different types/looks of zipper flower bracelets all over the internet so I had to try one of my own! I used the zipper and brad from the Stella and Rose Hazel Collection by My Mind's Eye and found a plastic bracelet and wrapped it in black ribbon...mix in a lot of hot glue and we have a super cute, even stylish bracelet! :)
I found a lot of bracelets on clearance at Kohl's and also found a stash of new zippers in many colors from the thrift store down the road so I will definetly be making more! May even get Hannah and her friend in on the fun!
Did I post this already!? I found this in my Word Art files, but I couldn't find the card to match, which makes me wonder if I even posted it! I looked, but didn't find it in any key word searches so figured I'd throw it out here. You can get the sentiment from my Word Art tab if you are interested! I love this crab...
Supplies:
Paper: Sun Kissed (Bo Bunny)
Punch: Border (EK Success) and Circle (Fiskars)
Sticker: Momenta
More creations from the new Momenta lines!
More My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Hazel Line.
These papers are just so pretty and sweet!
I am getting to play with all kinds of goodies for Scrap Tales! This is the My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Hazel.
I love that the ribbon bundle comes with the zipper ribbon. I cut it in half and took it apart to create the zipper flower. The pack comes with enough to make FOUR (about 2" circles)! Love it!
And look at this little key and decorative brad...just yummy!
These little cones are perfect for every occassion...I think! :) The My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Hazel collection has a perfect scallop circle paper and if cut in triangular thirds, you can get three cones out of it...which makes for some pretty reasonable (an oh so adorable, if I may say) treat giving! I love when products make my life easier!
I am thrilled to be a part of the Winter Product Catalog for Momenta! We have some amazing new lines coming to the market which include adorable papers, flair buttons, puffy and clear stickers, and CUSTOM stickers! Yes, I said custom stickers! Just you wait!
These bags have become a hot item on request for just about every occassion my kids can think of! I am just so thankful that Wonderfilm makes this so super easy! You can read the tutorial in my previous posts here or here! Hannah is in fifth grade this year and her classmates just love that we can personalize bags with their nicknames! The nickname for this one is Bumbee...I honestly didn't mess up Bumblebee :) (I had to confirm that about a dozen times because it is just odd!)! Supplies:
Die Cuts: Cricut - Bee (Walk in My Garden) and Font (Don Juan) (Provo Craft)
If you haven't ordered your Wonderfilm, go now! You will have loads of fun and the kids just LOVE them!
Hannah had some "special" valentine's that she wanted to have for her friends that weren't in her class so we created boxes for a lot of Pixie Sticks (SUGAR)! These boxes are 2" wide and a 1/2" thick and are perfect for lots of small items!
Start with a 8" x 5 1/2" piece of cardstock. Score along the 8" long side at 1/2" (this will be the bottom of the box). Rotate the paper (so the paper ends at 5 1/2") then score at 1/2", 2 1/2", 3", then at 5". Fold on all score marks. Cut up to the 1/2" score mark along the 8" side to form tabs. Place adhesive on one flap of the longer tab and along one of the 1/2" sides. Fold and adhere. Pinch the sides in half near the top of the box and punch two holes and tie twine to keep it closed!
Paper: Love Nest (My Mind's Eye)
I love adding glitter to my embellishments, it really makes them stand out on the page! I created this flower using the Scallop Circle Maker punch and then used a glue pen to trace the edges so that I could add my glitter.
Just look at how perfect it is on my page!
Supplies:
Glitter: Glitz in Peach (P K Glitz)
Adhesive: Sticky Tape (P K Glitz) and Precision Point Adhesive (Creative Memories)
Cardstock: White (The Paper Studio)
Pattern Paper: Margarita (GCD Studios)
Brad: Stella & Rose, Hazel (My Mind's Eye)
Sticker: Cheerful Title Stickers (Creative Memories)
Pen: White Gel (Sakura)
Punch: Scallop Circle Maker (Creative Memories)
Misc: Twine
A while back I bought many square frames from IKEA in the Ribba collection and I have slowly been building pages for 5-1/2", 8-1/2", and 11-1/2" frames so that I can add them to a "naked" wall in my living room! I can't wait to get it all done, but I am really enjoying the process! This is one of my favorite photos of my monsters...look, they actually look like they are enjoying each other here! :)
Supplies:
Paper: Margarite (GCD Studios) and Misc. Transparency
Punch: Circle Maker (Creative Memories) and Border (EK Success)
Jewels: Black Gradient (Creative Charms)
Fonts: Corinthia, Tunga, Pea Hannah Rocky Road
I used this sentiment with my Butterfly Shadow Box and had many requests for the Word Art. Thank you to all that requested it &/or wrote to express such sweet comments! You guys are just the best :)

ScrapbookPal.com sent me the cutest Limited Addition April Showers Cricut Cartridge to play with for this month! Being knee deep in snow, these spring cuts are just what I needed! This is one of the cutest small cartridges I have seen...it has images from rain boots to squirrels, even a spring banner! A definite must have if you ask me! Just look at these cute butterflies: I cut four pink butterflies at 1-1/2" and the two blue layers at 1-1/2". The small butterflies are from the inside of the blue layer, the opposite side of the paper. The "Sunshine" was cut at 1" and my card base is 6" x 4".
Supplies:
Scrapbook Paper: Textured Cardstock (Bazzil)
Pattern Paper: Stella and Rose, Hazel Collection (My Mind's Eye)
Jewels: Gradient Blue (Creative Charms)
Happy Valentine's Day!
I have to say that I am ready for this day to be here! It seems like we have been in a non-stop heart making mode for several weeks and I am ready for a little break from all the pink and red...even the chocolate (and I never say that!)! This is Hannah's box - I thought that it was really crafty and cute! Hannah's nickname is "chip" so she thought the chocolate chips were perfect and so did I!
Who would have thought that hot glueing chocolate was such a bad idea! Seriously, it never even occurred to me that the chocolate bits would MELT! Ya...I know it make sense, I am just saying that it didn't enter my brain as an issue until we were way into the row and the chocolate began to drip! Suppose we all have our moments :)
Gannon created his Valentine box around paper. He found this paper in my stash and loved the robots! He was even more thrilled when he found my Momenta robot and metallic alphabet stickers!
I helped him cut papers to fit the box and he decorated! I love the way he used the stickers!
I love the Simplicity line that is featured in the Deal of the Month from Creative Charms. The black and white line is beautiful in its simplicity and style and is just perfect for home decor! I used the large sequence and bead butterfly as the focal point (it really shimmers through the frame) popping it up with foam squares and layering the Black and White Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon behind it. I also added in Black and White Gradient Gem Stickers to the lower scallop. Supplies:
Paper: Margarita (GCD Studios)
Punch: Border (EK Success)
Frame: 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" Ribba (IKEA)
P K Glitz carries amazing Glitters, Embossing Powders, Sticky Paper, and Wonderfilm...but did you know that they also have amazing Sticky Tapes in a variety of sizes? I use Sticky Tape to hold down ribbons, to add strips of glitter, adhere paper to my projects, as well as rolling it to give dimension! I found this 5" x 7" acrylic box at my local dollar store. It is sold as a frame, but when you remove the piece where the photo slides in, there is an entire compartment that is open! Since Sticky Tape has sticky on one side and protective film on the other, you are able to place it on the back of your small items and cut around it to form the item. Once you have the tape on, simply peel off the protective film and adhere where you want it! I used Sticky Tapes to attach the flowers and grass to the upper area of the acrylic as well as rolled up to give dimension to other embellishments!

Pattern Paper: Margarita (GCD Studios)

I have always had an addiction to cardstock. It is the easiest for me to use and most always the first thing I grab when working on projects. I like the simplicity as well as the functionality...because really you can just do so much with it! For this card, I used all cardstock but when I was done I realized that it needed something more to make all the layers stand out so I grabbed my Bronze Ritzy Ditzy Spray and spritzed the card to give it a nice, even shimmer that really made the layers pop!
And do you see that circle!? Recently I won a contest at Cheery Lynn Designs and they sent me some of the Weaver and Wicker Dies! This is the first I have used their dies and I absolutely adore them...they work wonderfully with my Cuttlebug! I punched in pink and red cardstock and then wove them together in a rectangle, adhered them to a scrap piece of paper, then punched the circle! How fun is that!?
Supplies:
Paper: Textured Cardstock (Momenta)
Ink: Warm Red and Creamy Brown (Cat's Eye Chalk Ink)
Ribbon: American Crafts
Stamp: I love you Tons (G)
This is something new for me...word art drawn in shapes! It took some time to get it the way I wanted it, but I adore it and wanted to share it all with you! You can get the word art by clicking on the image below! To see more of my word art, click on the Word Art tab above this post or click HERE!
I have a few more ideas now that I figured this one out! :)
I used the Hugs and Kisses Treat Box to create my Valentine box. I sized it so that it would hold a full size candy bar and then created a 2" x 2" coupon book to go inside! Supplies:
Paper: Margarita (GCD Studios)
Ink: Olive Pastel and Yellow Cadmium (Cat's Eye Chalk Ink)
Pen: White Gel (Sakura)
I hope you join the hop!
During my clean up of my scraproom, I found a 6x6 stack of Joy Ride by Cosmo Cricket and decided that I should pull it out! This is such a cute mix of papers, I can't believe I let it sit as long as it has! These are little 3x3 cards that I created. I love to have cards of this size in stock around the house as we are 'always' needing tags for gifts and these are perfect for that use!
Supplies:
Paper: Joy Ride Mini Deck (Cosmo Cricket)
Punch: Square Maker (Creative Memories), Circle (Fiskars), Border (EK Success)
Twine: Caribbean (The Twinery)
Stickers: SRM
Ink: Charcoal (Cat's Eye Chalk Ink)
Misc: Button and Foam Squares
I still love all the puffy stickers that Momenta offers. They are layered and just so adorable...they really make for quick cards!
Just a quick Valentine card using Momenta's 5x7 Paper Pad and Creative Memories Friendship Micro Maker Punch! Such a simple card, but I really love the look!
