Winter Greetings

I was so excited to receive Winter Woodland from ScrapbookPal.com for this month's projects!  This cartridge has an amazing font and lots of winter cuts, including snowflakes!  For this card I used the Snkwflk3 for the snowflake cut at 4" and then used the circle base of Snwfl1_S cut at 4" in the light purple and 4 1/2" in the deep purple.

  1. Cut the card base at 5 1/2" x 8" and fold in half to form a 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" card.
  2. Trim  two pieces of ribbon at 5 1/2" and adhere to the center of the card.
  3. With the light purple circle, emboss with the Cuttlebug and the Polka Dot folder.
  4. Ink the edges of the circles with Wisteria Cat's Eye Chalk Ink and then layer the light purple circle on top of the deep purple circle.  Place foam squares under the large cicles and adhere them toward the left edge of the card, centering.
  5. With Stickles in gold, lavendar, crystal, and lime green, cover the embossed circles with random color.  Let dry.
  6. For the snowflake cut, add crystal Stickles in the circles and on the large scallops, let dry.
  7. Adhere the snowflake to the right edge of the circle using foam squares.
  8. Add sentiment to the top left side of the card.
I love all the spakles and texture!
