For the next week Frosted Designs is doing a tri-challenge along with Practical Scrappers and Stuck on U Sketches. If you participate in all three challenges and become a follower, you will be qualified to win a prize at each site. All three of us will be giving a prize out - but only those who complete all three challenges can qualify for a prize. You can either do all three challenges on one project or one project for each challenge...That is up to you! This is my attempt at all three projects together!
Paper and chipboard heart is Heidi Swapp, Tree limb and leaves are cut from Gypsy, Owl is hand-drawn my Jenn and I used watercolors/dove blender for color, Ribbon is DCWV (green), Making Memories (red), and misc fiber. Owl is for Frosted Designs, Three ribbons for Practical Scrappers, and the card was based off the Stuck on U Sketch.
I hope you stop by and play with each of the sites!

I have been seeing mug cards everywhere, from galleries to stores...so I thought I would give one a try! This is a cut file from George and can fit on the 12x6 mat. I currently have it on the 12x12 so be sure to change your mat size if you want it on the original Cricut. The cut file is here: Mug Cut File
I used double sided cardstock for mine, but you could cut two (one paper up, one paper down) and glue them together to achieve the same look. Once cut, place glue along the bottom edge and up the side to form a pocket and insert envelope or packet of your choice!

Well, this little piggy is for my neice...she now has the Swine Flu. Since I had just sent her brother's card, I figured she'd need a little more girly version. Poor little thing. My poor sister is cleaning her heart out trying to stop this from spreading - seems there just isn't much you can do to prevent it once it is in the home. I hope the cards at least makes them laugh a little...
Pig is hand-drawn by Jenn and colored with Copics. The green bits are Glitter Dome stickers by Mark Richards.

This card is for the SPCC It's Finally Friday Challenge! This week Deanne was the guest host...you should check out her work, she is one of my daily reads! The challenge was to use flowers. I wanted to keep this card cute but simple as it is being sent to one of our 2nd grade friends who is receiving treatment out of state for Cancer. My kids and I thought it would be fun to send her a card a week just so she keeps receiving mail, something to look forward to!
Paper is Heidi Swapp and K&Co., stamp is Daisy Bucket Designs.
This is one of my Cricut Cut Files, it can be found at the side, Swing Card.

I have been looking for this guy (he is a moose named Riley!) and I am so excited to have him (along with another one) in my collection! I ran across a new stamp company called Hanna Stamps a couple weeks back and I knew right away that I had to give them a try! I colored him with Copic markers and then went back in and put flower-soft on his face/neck area to make him look fluffy...isn't he just to cute!?! I think he'd be perfect for Sleep-over invites! You will have to pop over to their site to see the other stamp sets they carry I really adore them!
This is for the SPCC #18 challenge.
