Cricut Cut File - Goodie Bag

These little goodie bags are 7 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide (and about 2" thick) when finished.  The cut file was created with George/Basic Shapes and Plantin Schoolbook.  The score marks are provided on the cut file.  You need to do all the scoring first, there are six vertical scores (located in line with the star) and then one horizontal score (two score marks as guides) which is located about 1 3/4" from the bottom.  After you do all the scoring, begin folding the vertical scores at the front (near each side of the star).  It is like a lunch bag, accordian style-so the middle fold bends in.  Once you have the folds in place, join the two back pieces.  I use my small tape runner so that the back pieces overlap about 1/4".  Next, you fold up the bottom like an end of a gift package.  I push the sides in and create points (triangle shapes) for the front and back pieces.  I used glue dots to secure the bottom folds.  Behind the star shape I used vellum which will hide the goodies I put inside!
